Every summer, whether a teen or adult, people plan out things that they want to accomplish. The warm weather and sun gets people motivated to achieve their goals: becoming healthier, working out more often, getting more sleep, going on an adventure, or doing something that’s never been done before. These goals can be made into a bucket list. A list that helps you organize, encourage and accomplish anything that you want to do! Our Summer Bucket List is all about stepping out of our comfort zone and trying new things.

1. Every day, we vow to be active as long as possible.

 Of course, even we make excuses for why we can’t get outside-we’re too tired, there’s not enough time, or we want to see a new music video online :). But those reasons for why we can’t be active are limiting us from our full potential. We are blessed with beautiful, working bodies that need to be nurtured and healthy. Being active and strengthening our muscles makes us feel good! Whether it’s going on a long bike ride, taking a morning run, or having a dip in the ocean, moving around during the day is key throughout our summer.

When your muscles feel like noodles and you are looking for something to munch on, get a natural and healthy energy boost by experimenting with natural, organic foods. Try spending a few minutes in your kitchen whipping up a fresh, green salad or sandwich. Maybe even experiment with juicing for a change (our favorite) or bake a delicious vegan cookie recipe! Whatever you choose, select natural and organic food that nourishes the mind, body and soul so that you can feel good and live life to its fullest.

Indulging in a little sweet treat once a day can be part of anyones balanced and healthy lifestyle. Who wouldn’t want to have a few squares of a dark chocolate bar, a spoon of some ice cream, or suck on a homemade fruit popsicle? It’s important to treat yourself, while also with keeping a balanced diet and staying active.

  1. I recently made a “Half Year Resolutions” list. “Go camping in a tent” was on there. 🙂 A Summer Bucket List sounds like a similar concept – though I’m giving myself the rest of the year to finish my items because I’ll probably need it!
